March 5, 2010 - Susan Cox Powell, 28, mysteriously disappeared Dec. 6. Her husband, Josh Powell, was the last person to see her around midnight. Examiner.com spoke with two legal experts, Attorney and Legal Analyst, Anne Bremner, and Family Law Attorney, Juliana Wong, of Stafford Frey Cooper in Seattle regarding the Susan Cox Powell case. "The paramount concern for any court is the well-being of the children - physically, mentally and emotionally. Here, in this case," Bremner and Wong said, "it is necessary to investigate what is occurring in the home and whether the children are being cared for properly."

Anne Bremner, Seattle attorney and former prosecutor who has been a Knox supporter, said "What they're basically saying is, we found her guilty but there was no evidence, at least what we see from some of these first excerpts to support that and in fact it wasn't pre meditated."

VANCOUVER - A Clark County Sheriff's deputy is filing suit against Burger King claiming that one of his employees spit a huge loogie in his Whopper. Attorney Anne Bremner says, ""Police officers expect to deal with danger on the job, but they should not fear this kind of exposure to communicable diseases when they simply try to order a hamburger" states Bremner. "This is particularly important for police officers, who have few food choices when working late night or early morning shifts. She went on to explain, "This is a clear case of malicious intent against a uniformed police officer by two Burger King employees, both of whom had criminal records, one of whom has Hepatitis" says Bremner.

The federal judge handling the pending lawsuit involving the death of James P. Chasse Jr. in Portland police custody earlier this month approved the city's request to have three out-of-state attorneys from a Seattle firm assist them in their defense, according to federal court documents. The most well-known face of the trio is Anne M. Bremner, a high-profile lawyer who has represented the Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, and Des Moines police. She appears regularly on MSNBC and the Fox News Channel as a legal analyst.
